The
Grosse Pointe Park Municipal building is located at Adopted in 1950, our City Charter provides the City of Grosse Pointe Park with a council/manager form of government. Voters elect a mayor and six city council members, who serve without pay, to conduct the affairs of the Park. The city manager, is the chief administrative officer and is appointed by City Council. The City Council meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Grosse Pointe Park courtroom in the Municipal building. Meetings are open to the public. The City Clerk/Treasurer, attends all council meetings and keeps the minutes and records of all ordinances, resolutions, and public notices. She provides and maintains forms for petitions, has power to administer oaths of office, is responsible for all elections, collects all taxes, and has custody of all monies concerning City affairs.
