
The West Park Farmers Market is located in Grosse Pointe Park Michigan,
and entering it’s seventh season.
The market opens on May 15th 2010 at 9:00 a.m.
with a plethora of vendors
Our vendors will be
offering a whole cornacopia of fresh products, certified
organic and non-organic produce, cheeses, baked goods, art,
candles, jewelry, crafts, plants, cut flowers, holiday ware,
and an array of delicacies in case you get hungry.
Beginning in May we expect to have farmers offering
hot house tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce grown in Michigan. Additional
produce will be available when in season.
Not only is the
market a great place to shop, but it is also a place for
families to interact, and take advantage of a the number of
activities the market has to offer, including easy listening
music, childrens crafts, and food sampling to name a few.
The market runs from May 15th thru October 30th
2010. Regular hours are Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m. including holidays. Weather is rarely a cause for
closing. Special events are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on
designated Saturdays, and dates are listed in the “special
events” section of this web page.
There are anywhere from 20-30 vendors available on any given
Saturday and an increase in vendors and variety of wares for
special events.
Off street parking is available in the public parking lot
which is in the market district. The parking lot is
conveniently located off kercheval between Lakepointe and
Beaconsfield.
