November 5, 2016 Last day absentee ballot can be mailed from City Hall at 2:00 p.m. (City Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
November 7, 2016 Absentee ballot may be obtained until 4:00 p.m. and vote must be cast at City Hall.
November 8, 2016 is the Presidential Election, Polls open 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
November 8, 2016 Emergency ballot may be obtained due to an unforeseen circumstance. Polls open 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Register to Vote:
If you are not a registered voter, visit the Clerk's Office, any Secretary of State Office, or click on the attachment below to print out a registration on our site. You must be a United States Citizen, 18 years of age by the election date, and a resident of the City of Grosse Pointe Park for at least 30 days prior to the Election Day to register to vote.
A reminder for all students registering for the first time. You must register in person to receive an Absent Voter Ballot for your first election.
Election Inspector's Needed
The City of Grosse Pointe Park Clerk's office is looking for qualified residents of Wayne County to help manage voting precincts on Election Day.
The election inspector's job is critical to ensuring a fair and efficient election process. He or she performs duties such as issuing ballots, maintaining precinct records, and lending support to residents during the voting process.
To be considered for an appointment as an election inspector, an interested person must:
- Be a registered voter of Wayne County
- Be at least 17 years old. (The voter registration requirement is waived for inspectors under 18)
- Be willing to declare a political party preference so that a balanced election board is ensured.
Compensation for Election Day is $130.00
