Public Safety Officers
The Grosse Pointe Park Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for the purpose of creating an eligibility list for the position of Public Safety Officer. Public Safety Officers are cross-trained in Police and Firefighting. The department also provides EMS service with 18 PSO’s currently serving as Emergency Medical Technicians. The current work schedule is 12-hour shifts with excellent fringe benefits, defined benefit program, and Health Savings Plan upon retirement. Click here for a more detailed job description.
