Public Works

The City of Grosse Pointe Park Department of Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the following:

• Local and Major streets
• Snow removal
• Forestry
• Vehicle Maintenance
• Leaf Disposal
• Water/Sewer

The Water Board is also part of the Department of Public Works (DPW) and handles all water main repairs as well as the installation and repair of water meters, the reading of water meters for billing, and water shut-off due to repairs. Fall Leaf Collection

Please utilize curbside leaf pick-up instead of compost bags. This will keep compost bag pick-up to a minimum and save money and time. Curbside collection will take place from October until December (weather permitting). Leaves will not be picked up with branches, sod, dirt, brush, or rubbish debris mixed in.
